After a busy month travelling in May, Buds has not let up in June either! However, the focus this time was closer to home. Buds starred at two roadshows in Jusco, one at Jusco Mid Valley and another at Jusco Sunway Pyramid. Customers to the roadshows enjoyed some exclusive offers. Buds joined other Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in SMIDEX 2009 exhibition, held at the KLCC from 3 – 5 June 2009. Usually participating in natural and organic exhibitions, this exhibition was very different as SMEs showed what they were capable of. Buds was awed by some of the exhibits which included cars! It was exciting indeed to meet Buds fans on our home turf! Remember our previous post on Taiwan where we mentioned a departmental store wanting to take on Buds? We are proud to share that Buds is now in Shinkong Mitsukoshi (新光三越), an international department store with strong presence in Japan where its headquarters are, UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, France and US. Buds started out in Shinkong Mitsukoshi Tainan, and we hope its success will bring it to the rest of the outlets in Taiwan soon!

After trips to Penang and Taiwan, Buds had just about enough time to unpack, refuel and pack again for BioFach Shanghai, held 27 – 29 May. This being our second time participating in BioFach Shanghai, we were humbled that there were visitors who remembered Buds from last year! The exhibition also highlighted how vast China is as we met visitors from Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Xian, Nanjing, Shangdong, Hainan, amongst others. There were more international visitors this year too – from Canada, Norway, Sweden, New Zealand… We have a lot of plans for Buds in China so stay tuned! Remember our previous posts about Buds being in Dream Mall, City Super and ESLite Bookstore? Didn’t they look exciting? Well, we certainly were very excited and could not wait to go and check them out for ourselves! Off we went for a week in May. We were not disappointed. Not only did Buds look fantastic at those stores, it garnered interest from other departmental stores and retailers asking for Buds to be put in their stores! Even an organic store within a tourist attraction (The Grove) wanted to stock Buds! Our trip took us on an enjoyable trip around Taipei, Tainan, Tai-chung and Kaoshiung.
